Garden Shed 1.5 x 6.0 Dual Single Sliding Side Doors

This is a 1.5 x 6.0 metre, double hinged end door, skillion roof garden shed with a dual single sliding door on the longer side. This shed has two individual single sliding doors on the long side.

This gives you great access, or you can use one door for access and create and outdoor cupboard with the other by placing a freestanding shelf unit inside the shed against the door opening. This way you don’t have to go inside the shed every time you need something. Simply put it on the shelf and you can get to it from the inside or the outside.

As this shed has a sliding door you don’t need the swing space required for hinged doors. This saves space for paths or when you are close to a fence. It is also ideal to position under the carport, next to the car. You never have to worry about the shed door dinging the car.

We use light industrial tracks on all our sliding door sheds. Each door has 16 rollers, 8 top and 8 bottom, that roll in a “C” section channel. This sliding door system is superior to the plastic glide system that is commonly used in garden sheds. It costs slightly more but the added expense pays off in the longer term with less maintenance and fewer jamming issues.

Narrow garden sheds 6.0 metres in length are hard to find. So, we developed an extensive range of this size to suit a wide range of situations. Just right for those long narrow areas down the side of the house, to give you that additional storage you need. This shed is ideal for storing long items like ladders, scaffolding, fishing rods, canoes or even paddle boards.

A shed like this can turn wasted space into valuable outside storage and add value to your home.

About our steel

We use hot dipped galvanized steel in our garden sheds that is tested to an International Standard ASTM-A653, it is either standard galvanized or galvanized then coated with a polyester color coating.

The coated steel is tested to a further International Standard ASTM-A755M. Every batch of steel we buy is independently tested to ensure it meets these standards.

Over the years we have learned that 0.32 thick steel provides the best performance/value ratio for garden sheds. So, this is the steel we use for our full range of sheds.

We are happy to offer a 30-year warranty on our garden sheds, as we know we use quality steel. If you want to read more about International Standard ASTM-A653 click here.

A lot of people ask do you use Colorbond© Steel? Colorbond is a trademark of Bluescope Steel for their coated steel. We do not use Colorbond steel in our sheds.

However, our Midland Green color is equivalent to a Colorbond color called Pale Eucalypt© Sandrift Cream is equivalent to a Colorbond color called Paperbark© and our Onyx Grey is equivalent to a Colorbond color called Monument© These are probably the most common steel colors used architecturally today.
